Thank God that's over...
...And that it went the right way http://www.cnn.com/2004/ALLPOLITICS/11/03/election.main/index.htmlAnd for those who would tell me the sky is falling and we'll be the victim of more terrorist attacks, chew on this: They're not attacking us because of who the president is. They're attacking us because we're Americans and they hate us. The man in the Oval Office has not the power to change that hatred. All he can do is make it too expensive for them to attack us. |

Interesting Kerry Link
Evidently the people who were there with him don't think Kerry was all that heroic, or qualified to be commander in chief http://www.swiftvets.com/article.php?story=20040629220813790On the subject, the American left needs to make up its mind about the Vietnam War. When it was going on, the left tried to make us believe that it was an illegitimate, unnecessary, criminal attempt at the expansion of American power. Veterans of that conflict were spit upon by liberal protestors and referred to as rapists and baby killers. Now, thirty years later, they want us to believe that one of those "rapists" or "baby killers" who participated in an illegitimate, unnecessary, criminal attempt at the expansion of American power is the best choice to be the leader of our great nation. Which is it, folks? |

Just my opinion...
...but the Democrats should thank God that Howard Dean didn't get the nomination. I watched his speech last night, in between the World Series of Poker, and he doesn't know his ass from left field. In other news, WBTV in Charlotte's North Carolina Poll shows Bush ahead 51% to 48% over Kerry among likely voters in North Carolina. Please, God, let that trend continue. I like lower taxes... |
